Touch Rugby

Please note that from today you can register your Touch Rugby team for this year’s Intra Mural Programme. You can sign up your team by picking up a registration form from the Sports Development Office which is situated at Goodwin Sports Centre. All slots will be taken on a first come first served basis.

Touch Rugby is a new sport introduced to the Intra Mural Programme following our successful taster session back in May 2010.

Intra Mural is proud to announce that we are working with Adam Hughes who is the Community Manager of The Sheffield Eagles.

We are going to be running one league this year consisting of 8 teams. Each team play each other three times. Therefore you will play 21 fixtures throughout the season. Each fixture is 30 mins long and will be played on the synthetic astro turf pitches at Goodwin Sports Centre and will be refereed. Once the league fixtures are completed the top four teams will enter a semi/final Knock Out Competition.

Please take note of the Sport Sheffield Code Of Conduct along with the Touch Rubgy Rules.

The fee to enter the Touch Rugby league will be £187.50 per team. This can either be paid upfront in full or over two instalments £100 upon registration and a further £87.50 in February.

Fixtures will start week commencing 17th October.
