Club Achievements

Over 2015/2016 the club made big strides in both performance and participation areas. The club saw numerous team and individual medals in the South Yorkshire Cross Country League Top division and Championships. Our men’s team came a very reputable 4th in BUCS XC. The year also saw the club dominate the Varsity 10km with a near clean sweep of the podium places. The outdoor season also saw many top performances with four national age group medals and a number of finalists at the BUCS Outdoor Athletics Championships. Finally, we would like to emphasize that beginners can go far. One of our athletes who, before joining the club had never trained or competed in athletics has become English Champion this year!

We have a full calendar of events throughout the year, including cross-country, road, indoor and outdoor athletics competitions. We also offer regular socials and club trips. More information on these can be found on our website, Facebook page and Facebook Group
